TwoDown is a scorekeeping and game-tracking app for golf groups: live scoring for your group's games, a running ledger of results, and settle-up links when the round ends. It is currently in beta — things improve fast and occasionally wobble.
TwoDown is not a payment service, a wallet, or an escrow, and it is not a party to any financial arrangement between players. The app keeps score and computes who's up and who's down; settling up happens entirely outside TwoDown, through payment apps like Venmo or Cash App via links we generate for convenience. Whatever arrangements your group has are your group's own, and your responsibility — including complying with the laws that apply where you play.
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time passcode. Keep your number current; don't impersonate other players; don't use someone else's account. You must be old enough to hold this kind of account where you live. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or other players.
By creating an account or requesting a sign-in code you agree to receive one-time passcode texts from TwoDown at the number you provide. Message frequency varies with how often you sign in. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and stop receiving TwoDown texts (you can rejoin any time by signing in again); reply HELP for help, or email support@twodown.golf. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Rounds belong to the groups that play them. Scores, claims, and edits are visible to the round's players — that peer visibility is how the books stay honest — and every change is logged. We host the data and won't use it for anything beyond running the product (see the privacy policy).
Don't break the service, probe it for holes, scrape other people's data, or use it to harass anyone. Don't use TwoDown for anything unlawful. Be the kind of player people want in a foursome.
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. TwoDown's scorekeeping is careful — every settlement must balance to zero before it's shown — but your group is responsible for verifying and settling its own results. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the past twelve months.
We may update these terms as the product grows; material changes will be announced in the app and here, and continuing to use TwoDown after that means you accept them. Questions: support@twodown.golf.
